These are transcriptions from old cassette tapes recorded at various northern soul events around the country. These tapes are the
source of the majority of the individual tracks listed on the Live Venues page, plus a few more.
By the very nature of the age of some of these recordings and of course, the technology available at the time, the quality sometimes
is not the best - but if you never went to the venue, at least you'll know what was played there!
You play the tape side in the usual way, but if you click on the ' ' to the right of the player,
there is an option to download the recording - bonus!
I hope you enjoy these recordings, and by publishing them in this way, they stay 'alive', rather than hiding in some shoe box in the attic. After
all, they are history... 😊
